ES-P 2008 For Sale $285,000

It pains me to sell this beautiful machine! It has made a fantastic commuter plane for the last few years but I am relocating. This is an extremely capable cross country aircraft. It will haul anything you throw in it and get there quickly at 29,000 feet in pressurized comfort. I may consider trades down if you want to bring cash to the deal. Insurance rates for the ES-P are a quarter of the IV-P. I am the second owner. The aircraft was built out in Redmond to very high standards. You can find it at Leesburg, VA (KJYO) or Monroe, NC (KEQY).

29000FT?

I thought the ES-P had a 25,000FT ceiling as well as the ES

Pretty sure there is a restriction and you cannot fly above flight level 280.

as a member of the lancair fleet in which would ultimately be affected by any insurance claims, the TIT and fuel flows for that power setting concern me

That's not LOP, by any measure- and why fly at 28000ft with a 39KT headwind? What is your typical TAS at those attitudes?

I can reach 222KTAS at 18000FT with my TN setup, I would expect to get higher speeds by climbing further, but have not had the right masks and copilot to do so yet

Dang. Can't argue with that. My point was that FL250 should be easy. I can't fly at FL290 so not sure how anyone else can without RVSM but regardless those are nice speeds and nice fuel flows and it is the flight levels. I hope you get a quick sale, it looks like a nice plane. Do you have pix to post here?

What's your peak TIT? Do you have any engine logs you'd share?

Pressure altitude does not equal actual altitude.

No engine logs. Peak TIT at these high altitudes is well beyond the turbo operating max of 1750F. You lean to TIT or fuel flow in these cases while understanding the lean box limits.
