:newhere: I am a serious cash buyer for a nice Lancair 320/360
Looking to spend somewhere around $60-70grand but I am open to price for the right aircraft.
Preferably located on the western half of the US.

Looks like I have found an airplane.
It’s still in the construction process so I can learn more and have it built the way I want it.
Thanks everyone for your input.
Jim

IMHO, FWIW, $60-$70k will get you an average LNC2; steam gauges, parallelogram canopy, short mount, small tail, standard gear, etc. If you want a nice one you should plan on $100k+.

After a lot of studying, about the aircraft and my finances... I decided that I would go ahead and purchase the 360 mk2 with outback gear that was posted on the Lancair.com website as being 80% completed “pro build.”
The factory says they will finish it for me and I can equip it the way I want it.

I have very good mechanical skills, big hangar, lots of tools, 25,000+ hours of flying experience, but no experience in fiberglass and building an airplane.
I know I have a large learning curve ahead of me... but both myself and my wife agree that a factory built 360 is the way we want to proceed.

I will also be spending considerable time on this forum asking questions and learning as the building process progresses. I’ve already read nearly every post about the 320’s and 360’s.

I’m on my way to the factory in Uvalde, TX. In a few weeks to work out the details.
