Description
This Lancair IV was completed in 1998 from a kit purchased in 1992. It has slow build wings and a partially fast build fuselage. The builder had done two aircraft restorations before undertaking this Lancair IV.

The builder chose a non-pressurized Lancair with a normally aspirated engine to achieve light weight, simplicity, and economy of operation. The empty weight is 1970 pounds, and the gross weight is 3300 pounds. You can have 90 gallons of fuel, 800 pounds of passengers, travel 1000nm in 5 hours, and have 2 hours reserve at the end of your trip.

We are selling our Lancair IV now that we have finished building our Lancair IV-P.
