There is some exciting positive news on this airplane. The owner is taking steps to validate the major components professionally so there will be some reports coming soon. Because there is new information coming, the price has been removed from the offer until the data is collected. For the latest details you can always call and I will be watching all of the inspections in the coming week or two. Might be another Zoom meeting!

And, here is a request. Please don't bother Brad at this time. Unless you have an agreement to buy this plane, and you probably don't, there is no point having a dozen prospective buyers call Brad to ask the same question "how much to complete" and "can you take time off and show me someone's plane I don't own and I don't have permission to go touch?"

I have all the estimates and Brad needs to run his shop and handle the paying customers who want their airplanes finished on time. If you need data, just call me. If you need pictures, just call me. If you really want to get hands on and inspect then at least have the courtesy to contact the owner through me and ask his permission for you to go inspect his property with someone in attendance and an appointment. That's fair and appropriate for something worth hundreds of thousands of dollars that doesn't belong to you (yet).

I am back in beautiful Milan TN with my compact rental car. We are planning to do a full inspection on the engine which is a request by a number of people looking to make an offer on this beautiful machine. A big surprise, the VR LIMITER is installed which, for you that understand Walter engines, is a big protection plus.

I’ll be updating the specs once we have a complete Engine Performance picture to show people. It is going to be an exciting week!

Here are some more pictures from today's Walter-ectomy. Quentin Cook from http://turbinepowertech.com/was good enough to drive up and remove the engine for testing at his facility in Florida. Brad had it all set up in a shop so when I arrived, Quentin had already done most of the work the night before. I think testing will occur next week according to Quentin's schedule. The boxes are getting checked off.

It has been a few weeks away from home but we pulled the walter and hub and prop and Quentin took everything down to Florida where it was inspected and run to full power and tested. Quentin opened up the engine and made a few updates and everything is running perfectly for FCU, prop and hub, governor and engine. This is going to be a smoking good deal for someone who wants a IV-PT. There are few left to build and customize and this one has all of Brad's work done.

I brought the engine back to Tennessee and discussed the completion options with Brad including timing and cost estimates and more. Feel free to contact me to discuss how you might acquire and complete this airplane including training and testing options.

I put together a video of the engine test that Quentin did on this Walter. It took time while everything was transported but its done and everything is back in Brad's shop. There are no more big issues to resolve with this beautiful IV-PT. I'm hoping someone will soon complete it. Thanks to Brad in Tennessee and Quentin for coming and picking it up and all the shop help for the removal and reinstallation on and off the airplane and test stand. Everyone was enthusiastic and wants to see this fly soon and fast.

Updating the specifications to include ARTEX 406 ELT. New Battery. And engine is zero since IRAN now.

It looks like we will pursue a completion in early 2021 now as costs to fly are well known and very reasonable to move forward to a flying airplane. If anyone wishes to get involved, this would be a good time to step in and discuss options.

I was not happy showing potential buyers what this IV-PT might look like. Brad suggests flying in this durable epoxy finish for 100 hours to work out any bugs but it does look bland. I reached out a few days ago to our friends at SchemeDesigners.com and asked if they would make me up something for marketing. Bingo, in 2 hours I had this.
