WTS - New Parker clone pump with LB circuit

This is a new Parker clone pump with the LB back pressure relief circuit.
Equivalent to Parker number:108AMS32-CLB-3V-16-12

-.032 cipr gear section
-PRV - pressure relief valves - are set to up 1,600 psi, down 1,200 psi.
-TRVs -thermal relief valves- on both high and low sides
-12V
-T-fittings for pressure switches installed.
-Bench tested, holds pressure all day, both directions.

Added voltage. The "AM" designation is the 12V motor.
I don't have switches. I've used both SUCO (mechanical) and now ProSensse (solid state)

I’ve read through various forum threads to try to sort out suitability of this pump for a Legacy. I thought I’d just ask you directly. Is this pump suitable for a Legacy?

Short answer is yes.

Early Legacys used the LB circuit. Eventually the LD spool was supplied. Not having measured hydraulic pressure with the Legacy gear in transit, I can’t say if the symmetric LD spool is really necessary. That being said, I do have LD spools and can easily turn this pump into the LD version.

An interesting side note. The LD spool can only be used with the higher speed .032 gear section. The reason is that the LD spool introduces a leak when operating (See attached). The higher flow gear section has enough margin to still build pressure despite the leak.

Not sure I follow the question.
The asymmetric spool keeps left and right sides completely separated. When bypass circuits were made for both directions a sneak path was introduced. The bore and spool have a finite gap between them. There is certainly a lot of resistance, but a seal can no longer be maintained. The only reason this still works is that we don’t need full pump pressure vs flow output.
Not sure if Parker was aware of it or not.
I tried one of these spools in a .019 pump and it was unable to achieve nominal operating pressures.

Will post when more are ready. I expect a week or two.

BTW, they can be assembled as an LB or an LD circuit.
