Blade search - MT 165-09

Starting the process of repairing the damage from recent nose gear up landing...new blades from MT are a 6-8 week lead time and $2400 per blade. Any ideas from the group on possible other sources for these blades?

Whirlwind does not make blades that fit MT hubs.
At least that is what they have told me in the last few weeks.

Job is very good from my point of view but 2 years ago they were unable to respect delivery date and prices raised a lot . I know one LNC2 and one Legacy flying with theirs blades.

I have filled out the forms on the gt-propellers.com website, by gotten no reply. Did anyone have a direct contact there?

Bob, GT is in Italy. The last post Jan-2020 says Corona is not impeding their work. It is now 2021 and Italy is a leader in Corona stats today. However, the owner was a member here some years ago. Maybe you can call and ask.

I was going to mention GT Propeller is in Milano and very connected to experimental. They posted on this site. You might see if they can assist finding someone close that can at least help with preliminary inspection.

you can try to call Alessandro Tonini +39 335 628 5760, I dealt with him 2 years ago. To be honest, communication was good he replied quickly by phone or with WhatsApp, the sole problem was they didn't respect delivery date. My blades arrived 3 months late. Blades are beautiful. My plane is not finished yet, I'm unable to share flight performance for the time being.
