We are announcing early this beautiful IV-P based up nearby Edmonton Alberta Canada. Jason the owner built an unreal hangar for this airplane and is upgrading to a dual G3X carbon panel, new 406 Artex ELT from LancairTalk, a new EarthX battery from LancairTalk, Friedl Wingtips from Maurits and Germany, new Nose Strut from Chris Z and much more. A new interior also. The plane is getting upgraded to 24v and the new AC unit from Europe is being installed also.
Jason wants to move up to the IV-PT and is building hours and training with Anna who is now type-rated by Transport Canada to fly Canadian IV-P aircraft. We expect this completion to be done this fall. The panel is already completed and bench tested by Maurits, see the photo below--magnificent. The Friedl wingtips installed in 2 days so if you want a set that looks that good give me a shout.
Here are some preliminary photos. We will have more coming.
Price is set at 549,900 all-in and done and we'll either train here in Canada for a Canadian or provide training and import services and insurance help for other buyers. If you think you might be interested you can place a refundable deposit and lock in a price and position. Whoever is looking for a clean, no-expense-spared IV-P with the latest G3X panel and features including Smart-Glide now is the time to reserve this beast.
Our view at LancairTalk is that the market will continue to get more difficult for buyers. Parts and airplanes are still flying off the shelf--if there is anything left to buy. People are finding that airlines are not going to be an efficient way to travel for the next while and business people need to get to their clients and back quickly with predicable schedules. When you look at the 1.2MM cost of a Cirrus and the wait time, this is an easy choice. You get Smart-Glide technology with the latest GTN 750Xi wired in by Maurits with this panel.
If you want to demo this monster please arrange a call and schedule a flight. If you want to discuss reserving this for a completion in the fall or simply take it today with the new panel and install yourself then that's an option. We plan to take it down for about 3-4 weeks this fall and complete the transition. Until then it is flying regularly and available to customize.
Good luck.
