Brand new listing. This is a terrific buy for someone looking for a modestly priced IV-P. It is flown weekly and maintained by the FBO in Midland TX. The ship has been extensively upgraded with a nice G3X panel, new interior and recent paint. The nose gear has been inspected and has the newer drag links. More pictures and log scans coming but here are the essential details. It has TKS in the leading edges.
The owner has multiple aircraft including a Phenom 300 for business and is acquiring a TBM soon. The IV-P is priced attractively to provide someone with room to train, insure and fly safely and quickly. Call for details. Quick is best on this IV-P.

This IV-P N451M is back on the market and currently at Brad's shop having finished a pre-purchase inspection and annual condition inspection, both in the last two weeks. It has TKS and a gorgeous dual G3X stack. We currently have a few people in line to put a deposit but, as always, first come = first to buy. Not many Lancairs have TKS and this one has TKS and G3X and is modestly priced because the owner has a TBM enroute soon. Time to move! Price is $334,900. Call or email for more details.

I drove yesterday to Denver to help with the delivery of this n451m iv-p at centennial. Repairs were performed over the last 7 months and I’m guessing delays were typically from engine disassembly, new propeller delays from Hartzell and other jobs at this massive facility. Looks good from the office window!

Crazy days! This gorgeous IV-P w/G3X, TKS, new prop, fully IRAN engine. oh mags, electric compressor for AC, ADSB in/out, warranty work by Straight Flight (division Sierra Nevada Corporation), fully flight tested, pressure hull tested is available again.
The Straight Flight people working on the plane reported it is very well built and with two people and 65g the maintenance manager who went on the test flight (and has an RV) said it performed like a rocket. It has six new cylinders provided voluntarily by the owner to make it absolutely ready for another 1000 hours and those also come with full new warranty.
My mailing list for this TKS IV-P is getting notified today so call if you are interested while I'm near the airplane at KAPA. It won't last. Here is a pic beside the TTX and you can see Straight Flight is a full composite, structures and paint shop.

Closed: We finally have this really nice IV-P in good hands again. The owners are a group of companies that own a IV-P and now they have two. This is a really nice IV-P with TKS and it has been a long road since mid-2024 to get here. There is a story behind the delay, poor pilotage, insurance, shop, ferrying challenges, tire kickers, low ballers...I could write a book. What I will do is publish a good summary as it has lessons for LancairTalk, owners and buyers, people with insurance and people who allow others to fly their airplanes.
Congratulations to the new owners and safe travels.

second leg of the departure from Straight Flight in KAPA. I think the new owners (two IV-P now) will utilize this airplane to the max. The flight home was VFR at 17500 to stay clear of the obvious weather. The door seal pump was running so I'm sending some clippard tubing in case the tubing is old/ruptured and also sending a Suco pressure switch in case the switch is not working.
We are making progress on door seals for all the makes and that will be hopefully coming this year. Congrats everyone involved in this one-year project to fix what is essentially the bad decisions by a respected ferry/cfi. To this day has never responded to the fact he landed this airplane gear up. Got out of the plane with an unapproved passenger, got into a taxi and never said "hi, here is your wrecked Lancair" or anything to the owner standing in the hangar waiting for him to taxi in. What a coward. He left all us scrambling for a year to fix his blunder. More on that in another topic. Insurance, ferry, pre-purchase inspections all have lessons for all of us.
