Here is the initial brochure for N2PE, a first-owner Lancair 320/360 (320 fast build kit) with Lycoming 360 A1A engine. The FB kit comes with factory closed wings according to the brochure and many other pre-completed components. The FB kit struck many hundreds of hours from completion time. This airplane is still with the original builder/owner and it has served him well. Owners age and Lancairs with the certified high-temp composites just keep going and do not fatique or corrode or cycle out of service. These qualities separate Lancairs from metal airplanes and bring incredible efficiency and low operating costs.
