Andy I am using a ETX900 in my Legacy that is 8 years old and I would like to replace it. Do you make a direct replacement Sodium battery for the ETX900 and how much would it cost and what is the delivery time?

Do you need the same dimensions ? or, is there some extra space ?
Do you want more Ah ?

Yes I need the same size as the ETX900 case. I have the battery mounted in a aluminum battery box that is an exact fit for the PC680 size battery. The same amp hours or more than the ETX900 has. Thanks

Hello. I would like to research a possibility to change to sodium Ion battery for my 360 as well. I currently run an EarthX ETX680C. Do you have a similar battery replacement for it? Unfortunately it has to be the same size as the EarthX battery because there is simple no more space for a battery behind my panel.

well, unfortunately, there is nothing that will fit those dimensions.
Does it have to be behind the panel ? doesn't seem to be the ideal place for a battery for easy access.

Do sodium Ion batteries have to be larger than the others?

To answer your question: I think it is the most reachable place on my plane. I use the rear of the plane often for NOS tanks, hence I didn't want the battery be in the way or in danger of a heavy tank falling on it or hitting it in the loading process. Regarding easy access to charge, I have that covered by installing a quick coupler to give it easy power on the ground. And yes, it is cumbersome to reach when servicing, but I can take the battery in and out when the glareshield is removed. BUT isn't EVERYTHING cumbersome to work on on these small planes? :D That's why we love them. They are sooo snuggly.

yes, Na cells are bigger than Li cells, thus more space needed . I suppose the battery could be split into two parts....

That's where my header tank lives, Bob. I couldn't put a piece of paper in there after the header tank is installed. These airplanes are very small and we keep trying to put more and more stuff in them. I sorta hit the limit already, or will soon. Some water injection still has to fit in somehow, and perhaps a smoke system. We want to look cool after all.. :D
