Gascolator Shroud

Looking for the gascolator cooling shroud shown in the Lancair Legacy firewall forward docs for the Continental IO-550

Maybe make one? My 360 has one.

Injected engines do not need gascolators nowadays. I removed mine after the fuel pump manufacturer recommended to do so when I switched from carburetor to injection. I heard of at least 4 other Lancair owners/ builders who did the same.

Jason, that is a really easy part to duplicate. if you can't get one or duplicate one I can remove mine for duping. It would be easy. I do believe the cooling shroud with the vent tube is effective and worthwhile on the IO-550.

Thanks all. I have been fabricating a lot of my own parts. I just thought I would check if anyone had one readily available.

Paul, thanks for offering yours to duplicate. If I ending up having to fabricate my own, I can do it without the duplicate.
