Please put a price on those other items, it is required to list here. You can always change it later. Include the Facet pumps too. An asking price makes things go much faster. IF not sure, make it $50 and it should work

When was the Dukes last overhauled? If never, what's the manufacture date? They have to be O/H'ed every 12 years.

Why would you "Overhaul" something sitting new in a box? I'm assuming you are referring to the FAA term Overhaul to inspect and replace all parts as Dukes would require in the Component Maintenance Manual. And where is that rule, order, law, regulation that says "they have to be"?

I'd like to split this question into a new topic so that we don't contaminate the listing with FOD.

O/H is for the same reason that Lycoming (and probably Continental too) says TBO on their engines are XXXX hours or 12 years, whichever comes first. The equipment is loaded with seals and gaskets of various materials that break down over time. Can't recall where I read it; probably on a Dukes or FAA document. As for "have to be," obviously, we can do what we want with an experimental. But knowing how materials can break down, I wouldn't want to put my life on the line using a fuel pump that hadn't been used for 20 years, especially if it was new in the box. But hey, that's me.

Paul, I found it and I was wrong. There's a tag on the back of my pump that says every 10 years. I also sent Quality Aircraft Accessories an email asking the question. It seems they're the only authorized overhauler.

Hi Roger,
This post needs to be updated by Darcy.
I bought the Dukes pump and the governor about 3 months ago.

Thanks Claude, I'm writing some stuff to renew these ads every 30 days or make them history if there is no reply. The listings will get better in the next few weeks as they get confirmed or moved. Also, for anyone watching, we will sell one item per listing so that will make life easier for seller and buyer and viewers. The forum rules will get updated above.
