I am making the internal rudder assy. I fine it hard to believe the Lancair wants $1,500.00 for a unit that was $750.00 . I am making 3 extras for $850.00. That will have the bottom Rudder hinge, mounting block, stop block , pivot arm and brass bushing. Let me know if you need a set. I can make as many as needed.

I had a meeting with Lancair last month. One of the topics that came up was parts cost and availability. There have already been instances of private individuals reverse engineering Lancair parts and offering them for sale. They pointed out that it's easy to undercut Lancair's prices when it's just a guy with a CAD program and a CNC mill doing the work for free. I'm not thrilled about the hefty markups they charge but it's in all our interest for the company to do well. We want them to be around for a long time. Please keep that in mind when making your purchasing decisions.
